A former U.S. Department of Justice Special Agent who pioneered an early federal task force focusing exclusively on crypto and dark web crimes. Has led numerous major crypto-related investigations to include the takedown of Hydra - the largest crypto-powered dark web criminal organization and money laundering platform in the world.

Acey Allen

Chief of Staff

Former Director of Operations and Market Director with 20 years of experience driving growth and operational excellence at across diverse industries. With a proven track record in strategic analysis, digital transformation, and cross-functional team leadership, Acey has successfully steered both global customer-focused companies as well as startups through rapid growth phases. Held key leadership roles, spearheading scalable strategies and optimizing operations to achieve outstanding results.

John Hays

Head of Digital Forensics

A former U.S. Department of Justice forensic examiner specializing in digital asset recovery. Assisted in the seizure of over $150 million in crypto assets over 7+ years supporting some of the most high profile federal law enforcement investigations involving cryptocurrencies and dark web.

Jon Rasmussen

Head of Training

A former U.S. Department of Justice Special Agent with over 25 years of law enforcement experience, to include cyber investigations. Has over 6 years of International Law Enforcement Training experience and has led a team of Special Agents in developing, implementing, and managing International Law Enforcement Training Programs.

Roger Hallman

Head of R&D

Dartmouth PhD Candidate and U.S. Department of Defense SMART Scholar. Former computer security researcher at the Naval Information Warfare Center. Led several DARPA R&D projects. Thought leader in fully homomorphic encryption, secure computation and blockchain technology in cyber defense applications.

Robert Palazzo

Head of Technology

Formerly VP of Engineering at Grayshift, and senior technology leader at Cisco and IBM with 20 years experience leading software development teams in modern technologies spanning cloud, web, mobile, and embedded applications. Domain expertise in cybersecurity, SaaS, and digital forensics with focus on architecture for performance, scale, and open integrations.

Former CSDO at Digital Currency Group and all of its wholly owned subsidiaries. A cybersecurity and cryptography professional with over 25 years of experience leading security teams, including work across a range of government organizations and startups. Has been involved in digital assets and blockchain security since 2009.
