CAT Labs flagship software tool Recovery CAT automates and scales the process of discovery and recovery of digital assets from digital data collected in the context of criminal investigations, intelligence collection, as well as civil case litigation where asset recovery is at stake, such as bankruptcy, restructuring, estate disputes and divorce law.

We are looking for a talented Angular Frontend Software Engineer to join our team. This role will be
responsible for developing new features, testing, and maintaining code across our mission-critical products.

Responsibilities


● Technical Leadership:
Contribute to the design and architecture of our digital asset recovery platform using modern technologies.
Collaborate with engineers, product teams, and leadership to translate the product vision into a
technically feasible and scalable architecture.

Actively advocate for best practices, code quality, and maintainability.

● Frontend Development:
Develop secure web application user interfaces.
Design interfaces to optimize work flows and usability.

● Documentation and Communication:
Produce clear and comprehensive technical documentation (code comments, design docs, etc.) to describe the platforms operational procedures.
Foster open communication with team members to ensure knowledge sharing and effective collaboration.


● Continuous Improvement:
Continuously seek opportunities to optimize existing workflows for efficiency, speed, and accuracy.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in relevant technologies and explore their potential a
pplications.

Qualifications Required


● Minimum 3 years of Angular frontend development expertise.
● Strong understanding of modern web development using Angular, Typescript, and Node.js frameworks.
● Experience
developing AWS SaaS solutions including microservices design and containerization (e.g., Docker).
● Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in an agile en
vironment.


Preferred


● Experience with blockchain query tools and data encryption techniques relevant to digital asset recovery.
● Prior experience in GovTech or highly-regulated environments.
● Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and computer vision techniques.
● Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field.

Automate build and deployment of CAT Labs products using GitLab’s CI/CD infrastructure.
Support both AWS cloud and on-prem deployments using Docker and Kubernetes.
Providing monitoring solutions to ensure efficient resource utilization and fault recovery.
Collaborate with engineers to implement scalable SaaS solution offerings.
Actively advocate for SRE best practices, product quality, and maintainability.


● Documentation and Communication:
Produce clear and comprehensive technical documentation (design docs, etc.) to describe the platform build, deployment, and operational procedures.
Foster open communication with team members to ensure knowledge sharing and effective collaboration.

Qualifications


● Minimum 5 years of SRE and CI/CD experience.
● Expertise with AWS SaaS solutions.
● Expertise with Docker and Kubernetes. Experience with Helm charts is preferred.
● Experience with GitLab’s CI/CD functionality.
● Experience creating and maintaining deployments requiring government and/or industry certifications.
● Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in an agile environment.

Qualifications Required


● Minimum 5 years of software development experience with at least 3 years of back-end development expertise.
● Expertise in multiple programming languages including TypeScript, Python, Go, and shell scripting.
● Expertise in AWS cloud architecture and infrastructure including microservices design and containerization (e.g., Docker).
● Proven experience designing, building, and scaling production-grade Swagger/OpenAPI and database solutions.
● Strong understanding of modern web development using Angular and Node.js frameworks.
● Experience with continuous integration / continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles.
● Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in an agile environment.
